Everyone has fallen in love with Robyn Pandolph's newest applique quilt: Bespoke Blooms.

Paula is working on the shop sample: Here's a picture of the first block. Photographs just don't do it justice.

Janice has decided to kit the quilt rather than offer it as a Block of the Month. I will be able to drool over all of the fabric at once! The kits should be available soon, but if you want one, I would call the shop and get on the pre-order list. I've got my name on the list!

We have the entire Somerset Cottage collection in the shop. The line is on our website www.kudzuquiltshop.com. Take a peek.

I learned a new trick yesterday. When doing a mitered border, add 1/8 inch to the seam allowance on the 45 degree mitre and the border will fit perfectly.

Sugar Baby (one of my cats) is draped over my desk batting my hands as I type. I guess I'd better give her some loving!

Happy Quilting

  1. Hi, Deb! I'm so glad you have a blog now! I love Paula's applique block, too. I'm so excited about seeing the "Kudzu Girls" at the quilt show in Pensacola. I'll be by to visit the booth!
